About Us

LoveCentered is
a Christ Centered Ministry that believes that sincere Worship, Good
Stewardship, Obedience and/or Faithfulness, should be the needed response for
God’s Grace, Love and Free Gift, with Joy, Peace and Eternal Riches as its result.
We preach dual prosperity: prosperity in the present world and the coming
world. We live for dual reign: a reign in the present and in the coming world.
Our
Vision
Is to be a
global ministry that provides vision and avenues for all-round prosperity in
the present world that will induce a greater prosperity in the coming world.
Our
Mission
Is to lead
people who will reign not only in the present life but much more in the life to
come through the Gospel of the Finished Work of Jesus Christ and the response
of Obedience. We therefore Win, Nurture and Send-Out missionary Christians to
attain this purpose.
Strategic
focus
LoveCentered
Ministries is to be positioned as a unique ministry that lives for eternity
without neglecting the present demands of life. We will partner with other
institutions when necessary to attain a holistic development of
stakeholders.
Pledge
We pledge
ourselves to continuous studies and improvement in every facet of our being.
Pillars
The major
pillars of the ministry are the doctrine or teaching of;
·
Grace
·
Love
·
Finished work of Christ
·
Sincere worship
·
Good stewardship
·
Obedience
·
Faithfulness
Statement of faith
1. We
believe that the message of grace, love and/ or the finished work of Christ is the means to prosperity
in the present world whereas, sincere worship, good stewardship, obedience
and faithfulness as the means
to prosperity in the coming world (Romans 5:17, 1
Timothy 6:17-19).
2. We believe that greater percentage of every ministry's resource or revenue should go into evangelism and missions- both internal and external.
3.We believe and affirm that seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness is the definite means to true prosperity—prosperity in the present world and in the world to come (Matthew 6:33).
3.We believe and affirm that seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness is the definite means to true prosperity—prosperity in the present world and in the world to come (Matthew 6:33).
4. Above all, we believe that the virtue of love is the ultimate means to attain or fulfil this vision of dual prosperity. Love reveals itself through obedience (what it does or acts). Because God loves the world He gave His only son (John3:16), Christ Jesus said, if indeed we love Him we will obey His commandments (John 14:15-24). Obedience (Love in action) is therefore our hallmark!
Model
and Standard of worship
We finds our
model of worship from the account of Luke
7:36 and standard of existence or lifestyle from the description at Revelations 21 and 22.
SCRIPTURAL
BASIS FOR OUR MISSION AND VISION
Command those who are RICH
IN THIS PRESENT WORLD not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which
is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with
everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to
be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way
they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for THE COMING
AGE, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life (1 Timothy 6:17-19).
There are two kinds of prosperity,
prosperity or riches in the present world and prosperity or riches in the
coming world. The early generation church lived absolutely with a high sense of
“kingdom-mindedness”. They focused all their attention and hope on heaven and
eternal riches. They somehow lived abjectly in the present life as a result.
The current generation church nevertheless, has shifted most of her attention
to earthly riches and prosperity, which is good in a sense, but on a whole it
does not fulfil the essence and purpose of the Church of Christ. “If for this life only we have hoped in
Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied” (1 Corinthians 15:19 NRSV).
The
question then stands as; is there a way to strike a balance as God intended it
to be? Can we reign or prosper on earth and even prosper much more in the
coming life as well? The answer is A BIG YES! This is actually what
LoveCentered Ministries has been ordained and commissioned for. We have been
mandated to lead a reformation and revival in the body of Christ in this
regard.
DO WE HAVE TO PROSPER IN THIS PASSING
WORLD AT ALL? Yes! We need to prosper in good health, wealth, wisdom, skill,
intellectual capacity etc. so that we can fulfil the great commission. THE
GREATEST NEED OF THE GREAT COMMISION IS AVAILABLE PERSONS AND MONEY. We really
need much resource to drive the kingdom of God to its rightful destination. We
are to invest our present prosperity for eternal riches or reward. For example,
some of us must choose not to give God only 10% of our riches but 50% or 60% or
70% or 80% or more cheerfully.
HOW IS
THIS POSSIBLE?
Prosperity
in this world
Prosperity in the Present life is
absolutely by GRACE hence, it comes
as a GIFT. Grace in the scriptures
is sometimes written as; PROMISE whiles Gift
is sometimes written as; INHERITANCE. When
you see the word (“grace” or “promise”),
(“gift” or “inheritance”) in a scripture (New Testament scriptures), then
it is referring to prosperity or riches in the present world. According to
scriptures, prosperity in the present world comes through the finished work
(message of grace and free gift of righteousness) of Christ. Christ has
delivered us from sin, sickness and poverty and has freely brought us to a
position of righteousness, health and wealth. “He who did not spare His own son, but gave Him up for us all--how will
He not also, along with Him, graciously (freely) give us all things?” (Romans
8:32). God does not accredit anything He gives to us in this life on the
basis of our works; He accredits it only on the basis of His grace!
Prosperity
in the present world is absolutely by grace (Finished work of Christ) through
faith and not by works, God made it possible for us to do the works we thought
we did by our own strength and skill. Every good thing that we can receive in
this life as Christians has been made possible solely because Christ has
already worked it all on our behalf.
The
scripture in Ephesians 2:8 is the model by which every blessing of God in the
present life is received; that is, by
grace through faith, it’s hence accredited as a gift from God, so that no
one can boast! Apostle Paul emphasised this truth in Galatians 3:1-5 also;
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is
not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can
boast (Ephesians 2:8 NIV).
You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very
eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I will like to learn just one thing from you, Did you receive the
Spirit by observing the law or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish?
After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human
efforts? Have you suffered so much for nothing — if it really was for
nothing? Does God give you His Spirit and work miracles among because you observe the
law, or because you believe what you heard? (Galatians
3:1-5 NIV).
Salvation, baptism of the Spirit, healing, miracles, financial
abundance and every blessing in this life are credited to us by the same means
that is, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our works.
Prosperity
in the world to come
Prosperity in the coming world nevertheless
is as a result WORK(S) and hence, it
is accredited to us as a WAGE.
WORK(S) is sometimes written as LABOUR
in the new Testament scriptures.
WAGE is sometimes written as DEBT or
REWARD or OBLIGATION or PRIZE or FRUIT or CROWN.
Scriptures that makes reference to (“work” or “labour”) and (“wage” or “ debt”
or “reward” or “obligation” or “prize” or “fruit” or “crown”) usually
speaks about eternal riches or riches in the world to come.
Prosperity in the world to come results
from a conscious response to God’s grace and love with sincere worship, good
stewardship, obedience and faithfulness. It is an investment into eternity out
of the grace of God on our lives in the present world. Such a prosperity is
seen as a product of real work and hence is delivered to us as a wage or
according and exactly as we deserve. In the first instance of prosperity in the
present life; it was absolutely “not as we deserve”, it is solely by grace but
in this instance of prosperity in the coming world, it is “absolutely as one
deserves”. That is to say that you will receive exactly in accordance to the
measure of your good works. We are however, not to strive with our own human
strength to impact heaven. Any act done without a sincerity of heart, motivated
by love, is “nothing”, before God. For more information on how to act in love;
consult the newly published book Love:
The Excellent Way. It needs to be a sincere and heartfelt response to God’s
grace and love. Grace and love is the basis or fundamental truth of the
Christian life, if you fail to receive the abundance of God’s grace and love
you will in turn, fail to prosper in the present world and also in the coming
world.
We
ought to understand that the order for prosperity in the present world is
directly opposite to that of the coming world. This is what Jesus meant by
saying that; in that day many who are first will be last, and the last first (Mark 10: 31paraphrased).
Please Consider the Following Scriptures
Carefully
SCRIPTURES
IN FAVOUR OF PROSPERITY IN THE PRESENT LIFE
For BY GRACE you have been
saved through faith, and that is not of yourselves; it is THE GIFT OF GOD, not OF WORKS,
lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-10)
“For if by one man’s offense death
reigned by one; much more will those who receive God’s abundance provision of
GRACE and of the GIFT OF RIGTHEOUSNESS REIGN IN LIFE through the one man, Jesus
Christ” (Romans
5 :17).
“Now I commit you to God and to the word of his GRACE, which can
build you up and give you an INHERITANCE among those who are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
For if the INHERITANCE
depends on the law, then it no longer depends on A PROMISE; but God in His
GRACE gave it to Abraham through A PROMISE (Galatians
3:18)
Therefore, the promise comes
by faith, so that it may be by GRACE and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s
offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of
faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all (Romans
4; 16)
SCRIPTURES IN FAVOUR OF
PROSPERITY IN THE WORLD TO COME
See I am coming soon; my REWARD is with
me, to REPAY according to everyone’s WORK (Revelations
22:12).
Now when a man WORKS, his WAGES are not
credited to him as a gift, but as A DEBT (REWARD, WAGE, PRIZE, FRUIT) (Romans
4:4).
But by the GRACE of God I AM
WHAT I AM, and His GRACE to me was not without effect. No, I WORKED harder than
all of them—yet not I, but the GRACE of God that was with me (1Corinthians 15:10).
For to me, to live is Christ and to die
is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean FRUITFUL LABOUR
for me… (Philippians
1:21-22).
You did not choose me, but I chose you
and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last...(John
15:16).
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave
the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only
God who gave the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will
receive his WAGES according to HIS LABOUR (1Corinthians
3:6-8).
Do you not know that in a race all the
runners run, but only one gets the PRIZE? RUN in such a way as to get the PRIZE
(1
Corinthians 9:24).
Stay in that house, eating and drinking
whatever they give you, for the WORKER DESERVES HIS WAGES (Luke
10:7).
For no one can lay any foundation other
than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this
foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his WORK will
be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be
revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's WORK. If
what he has built survives, he will receive his REWARD. If it is
burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one
escaping through the flames (1
Corinthians 3:11-15).
Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes
and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And
he who REAPS receives WAGES, and gathers fruit for eternal life, (John
4:35-36)
This
is a faithful saying: For if we DIED with Him, We shall also LIVE with Him.
If we ENDURE, we
shall also REIGN with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. If
we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself (2 Tim
2:11-13).
Peter said to Him, we have left everything and has follow you! “ I
tell you the truth,” Jesus replied, “ no one who has left home or brothers or
sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will
fail to receive a hundred times as much in THIS PRESENT AGE and with them persecution
and in the AGE TO COME, eternal life. BUT MANY WHO ARE FIRST WILL BE LAST, AND
THE LAST FIRST (Mark 10:28-31)
"You are those who have stood by me
in my trials; and I confer on you, just as my Father
has conferred on me, a kingdom, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my
kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel (Luke
22:28-30)
But
seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall
be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and
rest destroys, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for
yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where
thieves do not breaking a steal (Matthew 6:19).
